Huntsville Flow&Grow is a welcoming and inclusive community of people practicing movement arts with props - such as fans, hoops, clubs, and staves - collectively known as “flow arts”. Through flow, we embrace connection with ourselves and the people around us as we gather to share the joy of radical self-expression.
We organize free events for people of all ages to make friends and find community by practicing all kinds of performing arts together. We'd love to have you join us, so Come Flow With Us!
Every Monday starting at 5:00pm, and continuing until 9:00pm, our community meets in Big Spring Park for some friendly social practice time. There's no need to be "on time"; we arrive when we can, and we stay as long as we like. Beginners are always very welcome - most of us have loaner props, so all you need to bring is your willingness to try something new! And if you already have your own props or any related experience, we would love for you to come and share your art with our community!

Leanne (a.k.a. Lila Celeste) has been a passionate flow artist since 2019. She first fell in love with hula hooping, but she has also picked up practicing fans, poi, and many other props along the way. She started Huntsville Flow&Grow from a desire for a community in which to share skills, practice with others, and hold space for the world of flow. She loves playing with the kiddos and connecting with her inner child. Flow means the world to her, as it gave purpose to her life as something to be truly passionate about. It has helped her through many hard times, and continues to help her live a more fluid and circular life.
